As little as your family needs. We keep walking to short, flat stretches, with electric carts, cyclos or boats wherever they exist, and a seat nearby at every stop.

Yes. Tell us your children’s ages when you book and we’ll ask each hotel for cots and high chairs. We plan stroller-friendly routes where we can, and let you know the few places where a baby carrier is easier.

Yes, on request. We can arrange a trusted local babysitter to look after the little ones, so parents and grandparents get some time to themselves. Tell us your children’s ages and when you’d like help, and we’ll confirm availability and the rate with your quote.

February to April is the easiest time to travel the whole country, with mild temperatures north to south. Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue) is also lovely until August, but it rains heavily from October to December. We’ll suggest the right route for your dates.

We start early, head back to the hotel for a rest between late morning and mid-afternoon, and plan the next outing for late afternoon. Our cars carry water, and we choose shaded and indoor stops in the hottest months.

Yes. We check hotels for lifts, step-free rooms and bathroom access before we book, and plan wheelchair-friendly routes where possible. Some heritage sites have steps; we’ll tell you which ones and suggest alternatives.
